Key Components of Slag Mill Retrofit | Wear-Resistant Upgrade Solution for SLAG MILL MODIFICATION NOZZLE RING ASSEMBLY

Time:04/14/2026

The SLAG MILL MODIFICATION NOZZLE RING ASSEMBLY is an indispensable core component inside slag mills. It directly influences airflow organization, material distribution, and the operational stability of the entire mill, and is widely used in high-wear scenarios such as coal-fired power plants, cement production lines, and metallurgical grinding systems.
For this slag mill retrofit project, we adopted a composite structure design of Q235B carbon steel base plate + wear resistant material surfacing on both inner and outer sides. The assembly consists of multiple wear resistant plates, outer rings, flanges, reinforcing ribs, and high-strength bolts. This design ensures structural strength while significantly extending wear-resistant service life.
Product Highlights:
Extra-large specification: The outer diameter of the nozzle ring reaches Ø6050mm
High-hardness surfacing layer: The surface hardness of HS100 surfacing layer can reach HRC60
Dual-sided protection design: The air deflector features a double-sided surfacing process (6mm + 6mm + 9mm), resisting wear and impact from multiple directions
Under severe working conditions with high-speed material scouring and intense friction, this nozzle ring assembly maintains stable operation, effectively extending equipment service life, reducing downtime for maintenance, and significantly lowering operational costs.
In simple terms, this is a wear-resistant upgrade solution for nozzle rings specifically engineered for high-wear grinding applications, making slag mills run more stably and last longer.
